Dear Mom,
Throughout my entire life, I have been blessed to have you as a mother; one who works extremely hard, who gives of herself endlessly, who never hesitates to help whenever she can and one who is always there to lend a listening ear. Moving away from home was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do because it meant that I couldn't be near you, to be there for you in the moment and to show you each day how much I love you and appreciate you. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and wish that I could shower you with hugs and kisses. This Mother's Day, I want you to know that I am, and forever will be, grateful for your unwavering love and support, for your morning chats over the phone, for the fondest of memories and for helping me to grow into the woman I am today.
Thank you, Mom!
I'd also like to thank Hallmark Canada for managing to capture those special thoughts we want to share with our moms with beautifully crafted greeting cards, stunning gift bags and sentimental gift ideas. While the weeks leading up to Mother's Day is often the time when we find the most gorgeous cards and gifts for moms, I think it would be great to surprise mom with a little thank you note on a non-holiday. Why wait a whole year, am I right?
What I love most about Hallmark cards is that they are a gift in and of themselves. My mother treasures each and every one of them, especially the Paper Wonder pop-up cards. And they last longer than flowers!
Practical gifts such as this embossed ceramic mug and matching frame are also welcome chez moi. Even more practical these days is this floral Patina Vie umbrella.
