Several years ago, I shared some parenting tips as part of the Pampers "A Parent is Born" blog tour. They covered two topics: How to Cope With Going Back to Work and Baby/Mommy Sleep Tips.  Today I share with you some handy diaper tips. As a P&G mom, I can honestly tell you that Pampers were my favourite diapers, from Swaddlers to Cruisers. I always felt confident putting my babies down for the night and didn't have to worry about them waking up with an overflowing diaper. This is why I developed an instinct for automatically heading down the baby aisle at the pharmacy to see if Pampers diapers were on sale.

Last weekend, I attended my friend's baby shower. Of course, I had to make a personalized diaper cake for her and lucked out to have found a box of Pampers Swaddlers in size 2 on sale at Shoppers Drugmart last week. The first week of summer vacation was busier than I had anticipated so I left wrapping it up to the last minute. Unfortunately, while in Hamilton for the weekend, I discovered an apparent cellophane shortage.

When I was pregnant with my first child, I secretly wanted to feel spoiled and was hoping to have a fun little party with my family and friends. I felt like it was finally my turn to wear the silly hat made of bows and laugh as guests took part in equally silly games. Alas, I wasn't so lucky to have a baby shower or to get to sign up for a baby registry but was utterly delighted when my co-workers surprised me with a very thoughtful party one day after work. There's something about being pregnant and getting showered with attention and some baby gifts that makes the whole experience all the more special. So when I was offered a chance to surprise an expectant mom with some P&G products as part of the Ding Dong Diaper Ditch movement, how could I resist?

One of my colleagues at work is expecting her first and I was so excited to drop off a bundle of essentials outside her classroom door this morning. I guess I should call it a Knock Knock Diaper Ditch... Last week, I was reminiscing over the past few years and how much both of my children have grown. They aren't babies anymore and, as much as a parent may dread having to change diapers, I would go through it all over again just to be able to relive the baby years.
