Disney's Christopher Robin
Monday, November 19, 2018
If there's one thing I love most about being a mom, it's that I get to vicariously relive my childhood through the eyes of my two children. And one of my favourite ways to do just that is to introduce them to classic stories and movies that brought me great joy long ago. Who can forget classic loveable characters such as Thumper, Goofy and Winnie the Pooh? Watching them come to life in animated motion pictures was one thing. But seeing them in live action is an experience altogether magical. This is why I am so excited about the release of "Christopher Robin" on Digital and Blu-ray, just in time for the holidays!
In this heartwarming adventure, the young boy who embarked on countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his band of spirited and lovable stuffed animals, has grown up and lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into mid-century London and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.
"Christopher Robin" is one of those Disney movies that will remain in my movie collection for years to come. Not only do I love Ewan McGregor as a grown-up Christopher, I am pleasantly surprised by the live animation of Winnie and his friends. And I can't forget to mention that it includes captivating, behind-the-scenes extras.
Did you know that "Christophe Robin" is the 16th feature film inspired by A. A. Milne's stories? Check out more of this Canadian connection:
