Personalized Diaper Cake Using Pampers Swaddlers

Tuesday, July 09, 2013

Last weekend, I attended my friend's baby shower. Of course, I had to make a personalized diaper cake for her and lucked out to have found a box of Pampers Swaddlers in size 2 on sale at Shoppers Drugmart last week. The first week of summer vacation was busier than I had anticipated so I left wrapping it up to the last minute. Unfortunately, while in Hamilton for the weekend, I discovered an apparent cellophane shortage.

    1. Thankfully we live on higher ground. But looking at the pictures, I could hardly recognize that they were taken in Toronto.

  4. Someone gave me a diaper cake at my last baby shower and it was amazing (personal and so practical!). How long did it take to make?

    1. Hmmm, well it takes about a half an hour or so to build the cake plus another half hour give or take to add the ribbon and make the lettering. If you add more embellishments or gifts to it like soothers and teething rings etc. it could take a bit longer.

  5. It's a beautiful cake, but I wouldn't want to eat it.
