My Mother's Day Hand-Crafted Gifts

Saturday, May 07, 2011

This Mother's Day, my children brought home some really cute handmade gifts from school and daycare. This stunning impressionist painting was the work of my 5 year old daughter under the instruction of an artist in the classroom. I am really impressed that my daughter drew this vase with sunflowers and painted it so well.

From daycare, my son brought home this cute handmade floral arrangement in a hand painted pot.

My daughter's class at daycare put together this really cute Mom's Gazette paper.

But my favourite gift would have to be that cute little magnetic clip that's holding it up on the door in my kitchen. How cute is that? I love the craftiness of it and it's given me some ideas of my own. What do you think?

  5. It's days like these I wish I had my own classroom. I only have 20 minutes a day with my grade 1's, 2's, 3's and 4's which is hardly enough time to teach a lesson, let alone put together a craft.
