Burt's Bees New Tinted Lip Balm, Lip-Smacking Good!

Wednesday, January 12, 2011

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip BalmSweet. Creamy. Delicious. And natural. The stuff is so good, you could eat it. Yes, Burt's Bees has done it again. As if their fabulous Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil wasn't good enough, Burt's Bees has now added to their lip-smacking line of lip balms with their newest product - Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm.

And it's official. I declare that Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm is now my all-time favorite weapon to fight chapped lips. Why? Because not only does it feel great, glide on smooth, and smell oh, so tasty, it also has beautiful tint that makes me feel a bit more... sexy. It's not like I do my makeup everyday. So by using the tinted lip balm, I feel more 'made up" all the while benefiting from the relief provided by this 100% natural lip balm.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm is available in 6 shades of colour making it easy to find one that suits you. For this review, I was sent the Hibiscus, my favourite, as well as the Honeysuckle, to which my daughter laid claim. They will be on store shelves this February and are priced at $7.99.

Did you know that Burt's Bees has adopted a business model called The Greater Good? It involves a commitment to Social Responsibility, Natural Well Being and Sustainability. So this means that they never test their products on animals, use natural ingredients and package their products in the most eco-friendly way. In fact, by 2020, Burt's Bees aims to be a zero landfill waste company operating on 100% renewable energy and producing 100% natural formulas in biodegradable or recyclable package. They get two thumbs up from me!

  1. I checked out their site and their lips balms are really 100% natural. I think I am going to try the Tiger Lily. I also like their "The Greater Good" model. Another two thumbs up for Burt's Bees.
