This Saturday, April 5 from 10 am until 3 pm, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be at Yonge–Dundas Square in Toronto for the #innerninjaturtle event. Hosted by Nickelodeon and Walmart, this totally tubular turtle takeover will kick off a special competition and you're invited to join in for a chance to win.
Event highlights include:
- Photo opportunity - Meet and take photos with the Turtles: Michelangelo and Raphael
- Live graffiti competition - Four talented graffiti artists will channel their “inner Ninja Turtle” and pay a fitting homage to each of the Turtles – Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo – named after renaissance artists. You can later vote for the winner online.
- Share + Show + Get Promotion - Show your #innerninjaturtle on Instagram for a chance at hundreds of instant prizes including toys, DVDs, and be entered to win an ultimate turtles prize pack ($300 value)
- Face painting

While it was a cold morning, we did hang around long enough to meet Michelangelo and Raphael and catch a glimpse of the graffiti art in progress. Well, it was a tough choice but I voted for José-Gabriel Sandoval. I think he channeled his inner ninja quite well!
