HarbourKids Skating Festival
Where: Harbourfront Centre
When: Sunday, February 15 to Monday, February 16
What: This festival embraces winter play, from cozy and imaginative indoor activities to building sculptures outside in the snow and of course, skating lakeside on the Natrel Rink.
Highlights:
- The ToyBox: Using toys like green screens, projectors, video image, Play-Doh and Lego, this installation promotes interactivity on both social and artistic levels while providing an opportunity to access the child’s coolest gadget through play, the imagination.
- Le Patin Libre: acclaimed for their contemporary ice skating shows that turn rinks into theatres! At HarbourKIDS Skating Festival, the company will present short excerpts of these creations outdoors on the Natrel Rink and will invite onlookers to join in on the ice dancing.
- Snow Forts: we've invited professional set designers and visual artists to come and play in the snow and to create something wondrous with attendees

Family Day Weekend 2015: Chinese New Year - Year of the Ram
Where: Royal Ontario Museum
When: Saturday, February 14 to Monday, February 16; Programs from 11am-4pm.
What: Enjoy a long weekend of hands-on art activities, Lion Dance performances, and exploration of artifacts from the ROM vaults.
Highlights:
- Calligraphy art demonstrations
- Musical performances from the Toronto Chinese Orchestra
- Tai Chi with the CCC Tau Chi Academy, and more.
- Appropriate for children of all ages.

Family Day at the Ontario Science Centre
Where: Ontario Science Centre

What: Enjoy plenty of science fun, special programs, IMAX films and more.
Highlights:
- Visit the special exhibition BRAIN: The Inside Story.
- Explore physics and coordination while balancing on a Strider Rider bike.
- Watch electricity, planetarium and papermaking demos.
- Journey to the Moon and Mars, explore the constellations and learn about black holes.
- Join Science Centre Hosts to create and innovate in this hands-on experience in the Challenge Zone.
Canadian International AutoShow
Where: The Metro Toronto Convention Centre
When: February 13-22
What: Check out the latest innovations in the automotive industry and see refurbished classic vehicles.
Highlights:
- Get a closer look at Formula One race cars, Jaguars and Ferraris, including Robert Herjavec's Limited Edition #LaFerrari.
- Visit the Xbox One Gaming Area.
- Drop the kids off at the Volkswagen Children's Playcare Centre for arts and crafts, dress-up, DVDs and more.
