FrEd Matters - A Symposium on All Things FSL. Because French Education Matters.

Wednesday, June 08, 2016

FrEd Matters understands that French teachers face an ever-changing landscape of challenges in the world of education. By building a creative, informed community of teachers, we can work together to meet the intellectual, social, digital, behavioural, and emotional needs of each and every student we serve. This is why I am honoured to be joining my French-singing rock idol Étienne, also known as Steven Langlois - Canada's Favourite Children's Artist of the Year. You know, the one who wrote the French grammar song that Justin Bieber sang during a "Boîte à questions" interview. Also joining in are fellow FSL teachers Tammy Aiello and Maddy Shipton. Together we are excited to bring you the first ever FrEd Matters symposium!

The first symposium is scheduled to take place here in Toronto on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The early bird rate is $129.99 plus HST until June 30, after which it will be $149.99 plus HST. The cost includes a light breakfast and full lunch, and attendees will get to attend four sessions with each of the four presenters.

We hope you can join us for some PD designed with FSL teachers in mind. If you can't make it out this time around, you can always keep up with the latest FrEd Matter on Twitter by following @FrEdMattersCA or following the #FrEdMattersCA hashtag. For more information, visit fredmatters.org.

À bientôt!
