Cavalia Odysseo Toronto - VIP Social Media Night

Tuesday, May 12, 2015

Have you heard of Cavalia Odysseo? It's a theatrical experience like no other. The show pushes the limits of live entertainment by blending the arts of equestrianism and acrobatics with high-tech theatrical effects and live music all under one giant big top. Odysseo by Cavalia is the world's largest touring production and it is currently playing right here in Toronto. This two-hour extravaganza is so incredible, they have added additional performances to meet strong ticket sales.

The show features a formidable cast of performers from all over the world who have established a special bond with over 70 majestic horses. To be able to watch scenes where the horses are free to roam at will is such a great honour and I consider myself incredibly lucky to have been able to attend a VIP social media night. We enjoyed breathtaking views from prime central seating that made us feel a part of the show.

From a magical carousel scene to a stunning larger-than-life video backdrop, the beauty and grandeur of Odysseo is almost impossible to take in during a single show.

The audience is taken on a voyage from the savanna of Africa to the American southwest and is captivated by the Northern Lights, an ice cave and Easter Island.

The show ends with a final scene where the stage fills with 302,000 litres of water to form a beautiful lake.

Tickets are priced from $34.50 to $239.50 plus applicable taxes and fees and are available at www.cavalia.net. Special pricing and packages also available for groups, children (2-12), juniors (13-17) and seniors (65+). VIP Rendez-Vous packages include a wonderful buffet dinner in the VIP lounge an hour and a half before the show, freshly popped popcorn to enjoy during the show plus a dessert buffet during intermission. Did I mention the open bar? Oh, and feast your eyes on those ginormous chocolate-covered strawberries. To die for!

    1. The artistic director was a pioneer of Cirque du Soleil so it has a similar cirque feel, only with horses.
