Do you care about this Planet?

Watch this:

Who Cares About This Planet? is a spoken word poem  written and performed by Made Wade that expresses the conflict between concern and ignorance for our planet. This poignant video really struck a cord with me, especially since I have two young children of my own and I have no idea what planet Earth will look like for their own children. I can't help but think of the movie Wall-E. In any case, I felt it was important to share this with you. I was really moved by Made Wade's performance. He is an emerging artist in Toronto who has a unique story-telling ability and insightful writing style which has inspired and challenged audiences everywhere, most recently at TEDxToronto in 2011. You can learn more about Made Wade at http://www.myspace.com/madewade

This is the first video launched by iQ, a line of eco-friendly cleaners that challenges cleaning habits and urges users to re-use their bottles to reduce packaging waste by 80% and the carbon footprint by 70%. They have created a challenge for groups and individuals to develop green project ideas and compete for a grant of up to $5000. The funding is only available to project ideas within Canada & the US.
