Dropper Stopper Review with GiveawayWednesday, August 04, 2010

The winner of the dropper stopper has been selected.
Introducing the dropper stopper, a fabulous accessory for moms who cringe every time their baby drops something on the floor. The thought of dirt and bacteria coming into contact with an item that can end up in your baby's mouth is enough to stop you in mid sentence and immediately rush to pick it up and sanitize it for the bazillionth time. Now, thanks to sisters-in-law duo Nicole Williams and Meredith LaMirande, you can take comfort in knowing that your baby's bottle will never reach the floor once it's attached to the unique and stylish dropper stopper.
Having undergone rigorous safety testing, the dropper stopper has been proven to keep baby items from falling on the ground, items such as cups, bottles, toys and blankets, to name a few. It's easy to attach and can be secured to strollers, highchairs, shopping carts and more. It's unique patented design allows you to attach the end with specialized grip material to bottles and cups to prevent them from slipping out. Simply stretch out the material completely when attaching. You can even attach it upside down to help keep fallen cups upright. The straight end can be used to clip onto strollers, etc. and have an assortment of snaps so you can adjust it to the length you need. Or you can reverse the ends and clip the straight end onto smaller or irregular sized toys. I'm thinking this could even be used to attach to soothers.
For this review, I was able to choose from their stylish designs, which have caught the interest of several celebrities such as Blossom duo Mayim Bialik and Joey Laurence (man, I almost forgot about that show!), Scott Baio (loved him in Happy Days!), Tiffany Amber Thiessen, Nicole Sullivan, Lou Diamond Phillips (*swoon*) and dozens more. I chose the chic Aqua Dot design and used it on my stroller. I own a Bugaboo and always wished it came with a tray to hold my kids' beverages, toys and snacks. Instead, I was always storing the bottle in the cup holder attachment (which I originally bought to hold my coffee) and would have to pass it back and forth with one hand while balancing the hot coffee with the other. Now, with the dropper stopper, I don't have to worry if my son drops his bottle since it's secured to the stroller. Not only does it stay clean but it's easy for my son to retrieve all on his own. Perfect! This could mean less coffee stains on my not-so-chic clothing.
The dropper stopper is simplistic in design yet incredibly effective. The quality is excellent and the added grip material does a fabulous job in securing sippy cups and bottles. It is also small enough to fit in your purse for easy access when using a rented stroller at the mall or a highchair at a restaurant. You can take it with you anywhere, really. It would also make for a fantastic baby shower gift. And I really like that it's machine washable (cold, gentle cycle). Keep in mind, this is not meant to be used as a toy and should always be used under adult supervision to avoid injury. It is not recommended to strap it to your child, a crib/bed or a playpen nor should you ever leave your child alone with this product.
