Tribest Personal Blender from ATG Stores Review

Saturday, June 12, 2010

Now that summer is just around the corner, I am looking forward to refreshing drinks on nice, hot days. I can see it now - lounging on the deck, kids playing nicely together, the sun shining and me with a strawberry smoothie in hand. Ahhh! And thanks to ATGStores.com, I can make my own with my new Tribest Personal Single Serving Blender and Grinder.

This lightweight, portable blender, which can be found in the Home Appliances Showplace, is perfect for making smoothies, protein drinks and more. It crushes ice, blends fruit and grinds coffee using a 200-watt motor and comes with 2 16-oz containers, 2 8-oz containers, 4 lids, a blending blade and a grinding blade. And the blades are detachable, making cleanup easy as pie. The containers are also super durable, too. You can even store foods in the containers by using a lid so you can have coffee grinds easily accessible during those mornings when you can barely get out of bed, let alone remember where you put the coffee beans.

In our house, the Tribest blender has been a huge hit. My daughter especially loves making banana smoothies and with the 16-oz container, we can make just enough for each of us. I found an easy-peasy recipe which requires a medium-sized banana, three ice cubes, about 8-oz of milk and a touch of vanilla.

Prepare all the parts of the blender. If this is the first time using it, make sure to wash the container and blender attachment with a mild soap and rinse thoroughly before using.

Prepare all of the ingredients. My daughter loves helping me with this.

Start by adding the bananas, the ice cubes and then the milk and vanilla. Be sure not to fill the container with liquid beyond one inch below the mouth of the container. Then add the blender attachment and twist it so it is securely in place.

Turn over the container and place it on the base. Press down to pulsate or you can turn the container slightly to lock it in place for hands-free operation. My son loves this part.

And voilà! My pièce de résistance! It's so easy and oh, so yummy! And it only took a couple of minutes to make.

ATG Stores... thank you for letting me review this awesome blender. My stomach thanks you, too!
