Disney Pixar Inside Out
Friday, November 13, 2015
Disney Pixar's Inside Out gives you a behind-the-scenes look at Headquarters, the control centre inside the mind of 11-year-old Riley. There we meet five Emotions led by Joy, the optimist. Together their mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. Fear ensures her safety, Anger makes sure all is fair and Disgust prevents her from getting poisoned—both physically and socially. Sadness... well, no one really knows what her role is.
The story begins when Riley's family relocates to a new city and the Emotions must struggle to help her through the difficult transition. They rely on Riley's core memories to keep her happy but when Sadness inadvertently ruins one of them, both she and Joy are swept into the far reaches of Riley’s mind, leaving Fear, Anger and Disgust in charge.
Inside Out, featuring a voice cast that includes Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Bill Hader and more, is the kind of movie that blends comedy and emotion with pure imagination, resulting in a hilarious and heartwarming tale to which both kids and adults can relate. Now available in a Blu-ray combo pack, the home release of Inside Out includes a hilarious all-new short, "Riley's First date?" plus the incredibly sweet Lava short film, among other bonus extras.
For those of you with little Inside Out fans, I have included a set of colouring pages courtesy of Walt Disney Pictures. Just click on the thumbnail below to download all six pages.
And just because I love anything Thor, Iron Man or Avengers related, I leave you with a fun clip: Inside Out Emotional Reaction to Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer.
