How Many Days Left Till Summer?
Tuesday, September 17, 2013
I woke up this morning and all I could think about was how much I miss being at Blue Mountain. Do you think if I wished long and hard enough I could somehow postpone the end of summer?
Or I can just count down until next summer instead.
This past summer, this was the view of the resort from our room at the Westin Trillium House on the morning we made our way to the Scenic Caves Nature Adventures park:
I can't wait to go back. Only 276 days left until summer!

It sure looks a beautiful place to holiday, I am sure it will come around quickly again :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a memorytastic week
I think you are safer counting down until next summer instead. In FL, we really only have two seasons. Winter and Summer. Well, our winter isn't as cold as other places, but it's cold for us.

It's summer all year round in the tropics.. no winter no snow.. so I guess it's summer all the time :)
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing! I love those chairs, they always look so inviting, we have a few in our yard but without the water not quite the same.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots...the 3rd one looks like a postcard :)

ReplyDeleteOh Blue Mountain! Counting down the days 'til we visit there again! (maybe in the summer)
ReplyDeleteI am counting down the days too. We spend in summer in our RV by the beach and we are now having to start the process of closing it up for the winter, so sad :(
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of summer, so I'm looking forward to some chilly air!

Looks like so much fun, what I would do to be there just about now...

I'm with ya on that one about Summer. Spring is my fav the Summer. Autumn is ok but not fabulous as many say it is. You and I will stick together on our wanting longer Summers, ok?
ReplyDeleteI'm ready to go back!
ReplyDeleteI am so not ready for it to be over! The thought of winter (and really, here in MB it will be in a month from now) is so depressing! Good excuse for a winter holiday though :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place to spend a vacation! Awesome shots. Thanks for hosting.

ReplyDeleteSummer's too fleeting. Gone for another year. :-(
ReplyDeleteI miss summer already - even though it's supposed to be around 80 this Friday - it's still not the same.
ReplyDeleteFunny, but where I live, we count the days until fall begins. Can't wait for that first cold front!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Wordless Wednesday!
Love how you have the countdown til next summer!! When summer begins it always seems as if it will last forever, and then wham! It's over :(
ReplyDeleteyeah, I kno what you mean. there's never enough summer. maybe we should all move to Arizona or New Mexico.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty pics. Our summer is making a fast escape now. I'll miss it. :)
ReplyDeletePersonally Fall & Winter are my favorite times. And we can have some brutal winters here in Newfoundland!
ReplyDeleteHaha for me, starting the countdown now would be torture! Then again, if I had an experience like yours at the Blue to reflect upon, maybe it would be exciting!
ReplyDeleteI've looked at the photos you've posted to this page from the Westin Trillium House visit and I can't get over how nice it must've been in person. Summer really can't come soon enough!
