Blue Mountain Timber Challenge High Ropes

Today I attempted a high ropes course for the very first time. Ever.

I'm up at Blue Mountain with the family enjoying a much needed family getaway and couldn't resist taking the Timber Challenge. If you take a ride on the Ridge Coaster, you will zip right through the course dozens and dozens of feet above you. There are three levels: green, blue and black. I managed to finish all three green courses and one of the blue courses before calling it quits. It took me two hours in total and I was famished and parched. But definitely proud of myself for getting so far. There were some really intimidating spots but I had fun on the zipline. I will definitely being trying the Timber Challenge again in the future. What a thrill!

    1. It was pretty intimidating at various points but it was on my bucket list and I feel so happy that I attempted as much as I did. Next time I come back, I'm going to attempt the other blue course and maybe... maybe a black!

    1. I took one look at the black course and felt that was way too extreme. I have never done anything like this before. And now, the next morning, my arms are SORE! Never hugged so many trees in my life!

    1. Nothing wimpy about staying grounded. I asked myself many times: "What the heck am I doing up here?"

    1. It certainly was quite an experience being so high up in the trees. I also had a great view of the Georgian Bay.
