FYI: We Day Sneak Peek Event This Saturday!

On Saturday, September 24 (between 2 – 4:00 p.m.) join Kardinal Offishall, Shawn Desman, The Kenyan Boys Choir (best known for their performance at President Barack Obama’s inauguration ceremony) co-founder of Free The Children, Marc Kielburger, and Me to We speakers Michel Chikwanine and Spencer West for Free The Children’s We Day sneak peek event. Youth and families will have an opportunity to mingle (autographs and photos) with some of this year’s extraordinary talent who will lead an electrified crowd of 18,000 students celebrating a movement for global change at the Air Canada Centre on September 27 for We Day (

When: Saturday, September 24, 2011

Time: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Where: Me to We store, 223 Carlton Street, Toronto, Ontario, M5A 2L2

Cost: Admission for the event is one $10 donation that will go directly towards supporting Free The Children’s East African drought relief efforts. Moreover with that donation each person will receive a limited edition Rafiki Friend of East Africa Chain made by Me to We Artisans. Right now, families in East Africa are suffering the worst drought in 60 years. One $10 chain will help feed one person in East Africa for a month.
