Green Works Naturally Derived Product Review and Giveaway

Sunday, July 25, 2010

This contest is now closed.

A couple of months ago, you may recall a review I wrote on Green Works Natural cleaners. I tested out their Natural Biodegradable Cleaning Wipes and their All-Purpose Natural Cleaner. I loved them so much, you can still find them in my cleaning stash. This is what I wrote about the all-purpose cleaner:
I tested it out on windows and mirrors to see if it left any streaks or residue. And the way my kids manage to completely cover our windowed closet with their greasy hand prints, I knew it was going to be a tough job. Surprisingly, the Green Works cleaner held up quite well. I still needed to go over a few heavily soiled spots using some elbow grease but with the pleasant smell, I didn't mind in the least.
Now that it's summer and I'm off work, I thought I would have more time to clean and work on my blog. The fact is it seems I have less. The days are filled with trips to the park, trekking my daughter to gymnastics camp or soccer practice, and playing with my son's toy cars. Does it really matter that I occasionally hang out in my pj's until noon-ish? No, right?

Wrong! It just so happens I had an unexpected delivery from a kind gentleman who knocked on my door one rainy day. Much to his dismay, I answered the door with hair disheveled and a frazzled look upon my face. I was prepared to poke my head out the door and shoo away the prospective salesman. I wasn't, however, prepared to receive this lovely basket. I wasn't even wearing a bra, for Pete's sake!

So, now that I have a bottle of Green Works Naturally Derived Glass Cleaner and a bottle of Dishwashing Liquid, I have found the solution to my mirror woes and less incentive to throw the dishes in the dishwasher. I also have a coconut I have yet to figure out how to open.

Green Works continues to improve their products and their newest formula for their dishwashing liquid cuts tough grease and baked on food faster and more effectively than before. It leaves your dishes squeaky clean and that's a biggie in this house. Made with plant-based cleaning ingredients that are biodegradable, it's dermatologist tested and gentle on your hands. Darn it. Just more incentive to wash hand wash dirty dishes. It really works well. But if you don't believe me, how about the 79 of 80 customers who rated the dishwashing liquid online and said they would recommend it to others? The current average rating is 4.8 out of 5. Here is a list of the naturally derived dishwashing liquid ingredients:

The Green Works glass cleaner has me really excited. I have pretty much used the same glass cleaner my mother used when I was a kid but I've long felt a need to do away with it. Ammonia is so passé anyway. Now that I have a bottle of glass cleaner that has 95% naturally derived plant and mineral-based ingredients, I can clean my mirrors without the worry of harsh chemical fumes or nasty looking streaks. It's even certified by the Natural Products Association. I really like it. And 116 people gave it a rating of 4.7 out of 5.

Would you like to see for yourself how well it works for you?

You can purchase Green Works Natural Dishwashing liquid and their Glass Cleaner online through Amazon.com or you can visit the Green Works website to find a store near you. And for a limited time, they are also offering a $1 off coupon towards glass cleaner when you sign up for their newsletter.
