Tushie Huggers by Agoo Product Review

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

You may recall an earlier post I wrote about a promotion on Agoo Leg Huggers, which are made of 100% sustainable bamboo and are great for keeping baby's legs warm in cold weather. Now, Agoo has taken it a step further and built on the great designs of Leg Huggers by adding a skirt for girls and shorts for boys. The result? A fun and fashionable 2-in-1 ensemble adorably named Tushie Huggers. These are made of luxurious cotton yarn and come in three sizes: 0-12 months, 12-24 months and 24-36 months.

Having bought some items by Agoo that were on clearance earlier this year, I was really excited to be able to review their latest product. I was sent the Tushie Huggers Rock Steady in a size 24-36 and instantly loved that the sizing was very flexible. The material stretches easily and will nicely accommodate my son's growth, since he turned 2 earlier this month. The legs are long on him but they just gather up a bit at the ankle and look just fine. The waistband can be stretched out a lot but still provides enough tension so they won't fall off. The fabric feels great and I was surprised how good the quality is. It's thicker than I would expect, which provides some extra padding to soften bumps or falls. It evens wears amazingly well in the wash. After a couple of cycles, the Tushie Huggers still look good as new, in keeping with their test results for resilience and wear.

My son loved the rhinoceros design and seemed to really enjoy the comfort. I love that you can also buy tops to match. They currently have ten outfits consisting of matching tops and bottoms. I really love the Cowboy Crawler for boys and the Daisy Drop for girls. In my opinion, this is a definite must-have for any active baby wardrobe.

Tushie Huggers by Agoo are available for purchase through their website Agoo4u.com for $25 and matching tops cost $20. Orders within Canada and Continental USA have a flat rate of $8 for shipping and orders over $50 qualify for free shipping!
