It Started With ArtemanoTuesday, February 09, 2016
Several weeks ago, my husband and I took the kids to Shops at Don Mills for a stroll and some window shopping. We stopped by the newly opened Artemano to admire the beautiful wooden furniture. Little did we know we'd soon find ourselves the owners of a new dining table and bench set.
No, we weren't shopping for a new dining table. But we fell in love with the modern look of this gorgeous freeform table made of suar that, once we learned it was on sale at 50% off, we couldn't resist.
Next, we made our way to Structube just around the corner and began looking for a new sofa set. It was like we were bitten by the furniture shopping bug and couldn't stop. While we found a sofa that we liked, we thought we should shop around so we headed over to Elte Market. That's where I spotted this new coffee table that I now have my eyes on.
While we left there empty handed, we did manage to find what we were looking for at the Chesterfield Shop - a customized 2-piece sectional. I am very excited for it to arrive in the next couple of weeks and, in the meantime, we've been busy rearranging our living space. To help me get a better idea of how to design our living room, I turned to RoomSketcher.com.
The free version has its limitations but it certainly helped me to visualize how I want my living room to be set up. Once the sofa arrives, then we will have a better idea of the look we want and can continue our search for a new coffee table, side tables, a TV stand and yes, a new flat screen TV! Our current Sony tube TV works just fine but I really, really want a new flat screen. Can't wait!
