It is the beginning of November and we are currently experiencing near-freezing temperatures. With the furnace pumping out warm, dry air, I find my skin is already becoming dry and my lips chapped. One of my favourite lip balms is made by Burt's Bees and this year, they have a whole lineup of holiday gift sets which would make great stocking stuffers or teacher gifts. My personal preference is for Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balms since they add a nice hint of colour while providing moisture. To add to my collection, I now have a pomegranate lip balm that is included in the Burt's Bees Body Scrub and Balm Set, featured above. The cost of $14.99 is quite reasonable considering that Burt's Bees are made using earth-friendly and natural ingredients.
|Burt's Bees Assorted Fruit Lip Balm Trio - $9.99|
Not sure which lip balm to get? How about their Assorted Fruit Lip Balm Trio? Included in the set is a beeswax lip balm, a replenishing lip balm with pomegranate oil, a nourishing lip balm with mango butter and a handy red Burt's Bees lip balm holder. You can also find mini sets which may include a lip balm and a mini hand salve or cuticle creme which cost $5.50.
|Baby Bee Rub-a-Dub-Dub Kit - $19.99|
For those with precious new bundles of joy, Burt's Bees has a Rub-a-Dub-Dub kit that includes Baby Bee Shampoo and Wash, a lotion and nourishing oil. Glad to see this in their line-up. Their multi-purpose petroleum-free ointment was such a huge hit with my little niece that my brother bought several more to keep in stock.
Burt's Bees products are available in a variety of natural, grocery, drug and mass retailers such as Whole Foods, Shopper's Drug Mart, Mark's, and more as well as via www.burtsbees.ca.
