A,B,C, easy as 1,2,3

Tuesday, May 23, 2006

I like to play. Therefore, I'm participating in the letter game.

Bon from The Mama gave me... (drumroll, please)

The letter R.

The first ten words that popped into my head are:

Roses: These are my favourite flowers. Like myself, they are delicate looking, smell lovely and have thorns to protect themselves.

Red: This is my favourite colour for roses. For me, it symbolizes passion.

Reading: I enjoy reading, especially other blogs. I just wish I could read faster. I've got much catching up to do.

Remembering: I'm very bad at this. It's only getting worse. Now, what was the next word I was thinking of?

Raffi: He is one of my favourite children's song writers/performers. Just this morning, I was dancing with Madeleine to his CD Singable Songs for the Very Young.

Rumba: Here's a dance I'd like to learn, along with the Viennese Waltz, Tango and Jive.

Re-organizing: My whole house is in dire need of it.

Running (around): Now that Maddy is very mobile, I am doing a lot of this.

Rachelle (RAh-ShEL): The name of a talented blogger from Teacher, Mom, Mad Woman whose My Life Monday corrected me on the pronunciation of her name.

Rocking chair: This is the last piece of furniture I really, REALLY want for the nursery. Maddie is WAY to heavy to rock in my arms while standing.

Pssst! Would you like to buy a letter? I got a whole bunch of 'em. Go ahead, ask Vanna for a letter.

  1. I love rocking chairs! There's nothing like soothing a cranky baby in a comfy rocking chair while soothing your aching back! :)
I have a hard time remembering also, but I think I've ALWAYS had a problem with that! :) Must be going around!

  9. Hi! I want a letter :) Though I must be the only person out here who thinks rocking chairs can be so creepy as well! I once saw a play (the Woman in White) where this woman was rocking really violently back and forth, and I swear it gave me nightmares! But reading, definately! And thank you for your comments on my blog :)

  10. Alright then, Michelle. A letter you'll get!

You've been tagged by the letter C.

C is for cookie. It's good enough to eat.
